Our people

Jen was brought up on a farm in the Highlands, where she developed a strong connection to rural life and the countryside. She went on to study Rural Land Management at agricultural college and became a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) qualifying in 2012. Jen spent a decade managing farms and estates across the Highlands, gaining extensive experience in rural business and development. In 2023, she transitioned into the renewables sector, bringing her practical knowledge of rural environments into a new and evolving industry.

Jen joined the Gael Energy team in earnest in 2025, working within the office team while also continuing to run her family farming business and herd her and Hamish’s wee girls around the place. Outside of work, Jen enjoys horse riding, sunny day farming and Hamish’s cooking!
