Our people

James began his career working as a welder on pipeline projects with Technip before joining Gael Energy. Inspired by the opportunity to travel across the country and take on new challenges within the wind energy sector, he saw Gael Energy as the ideal next step in his career.

Alongside his role as trainee wind turbine engineer, James is working towards a qualification in Mechanical Engineering through the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI), further developing his technical knowledge and skills.

Outside of work, James enjoys working on cars and spending time outdoors.
