After leaving school, Jake Donaldson pursued his passion for engineering by studying electrical engineering at college. He began his career at Kia before being offered an opportunity at Volkswagen. In February 2025, he took the next step in his career by joining Gael Energy as a Trainee Wind Turbine Engineer.

Jake has a keen interest in football and enjoys playing golf from time to time. Coming from a family with a farming background, he also spends much of his spare time helping out on the farm, combining his hands-on skills with his love for the outdoors.
