David began his career in the electrical industry after leaving school, joining Morris Installations as a JIB apprentice and undertaking the majority of his training at Farnborough Technical College before relocating to Wales to complete his apprenticeship with an electrical contractor delivering local authority projects.

After gaining experience running his own delivery business, David returned to the electrical trade as a self-employed electrician, working with E.P.S. on high-voltage installations for wind farms and other power generation systems. During this time, he developed specialist expertise in high-voltage jointing, fibre optic jointing and became a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) for high-voltage systems up to 132kV.

David subsequently moved into wind turbine operations, joining the team at Maesgwyn Wind Farm, bringing with him extensive electrical experience and specialist knowledge of high-voltage systems.

Outside of work, David enjoys hiking, mountain biking, fishing, good food and films.
