Gael Energy Repowers 50kW AOC Turbine in Mintlaw with BestWatt Turbine, Backed by Market-Leading 'Garant' Partnership with Rengineers

Valued clients Irene and Jim Fowlie recently entrusted Gael Energy to revive their 50kW AOC turbine in Mintlaw, Aberdeenshire, which had remained idle for the last two years. Manufactured by Rengineers and a perfect fit for repowering, this involved the successful installation of a BestWatt turbine.

This installation was backed by a market-leading 'Garant' Operations and Maintenance contract, a strategic alliance that sees Gael Energy support Rengineers in rolling it out to wind farm operators across the country. Rengineers' ground-breaking Garant contract ensures that all conceivable costs associated with wind turbine maintenance are covered by an annual fixed fee, with operators being compensated in full for any loss of earnings beyond a 48-hour shutdown period.
