Congratulations to Aidan Lawson Who Is Celebrating His One-Year Anniversary at Gael Energy
4th July, 2024Congratulations to Aidan Lawson who is celebrating his one-year anniversary at Gael Energy as a Wind Turbine Engineer! Over the past year, Aidan has become an invaluable member of our team, bringing dedication, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to his work. While he has been involved in various projects across the UK, his current focus is on the historic Kirkby Moor wind farm. Owned by Ventient Energy, it is one of the oldest wind farms in the UK!
Aidan’s day-to-day responsibilities at Kirkby are critical to maintaining operational efficiency. These tasks include promptly addressing any faults that occur with any of the twelve Vestas V34 turbines, minimising downtime, and ensuring continuous energy production. He also plays a vital role in ensuring that necessary parts are ordered and available on-site which helps in managing breakdowns effectively. Working alongside his colleagues Hamish and David, he was also recently involved in a nose cone exchange project which demonstrates Gael Energy’s technical expertise in maintaining and upgrading major wind turbine components.
